Dante has been bravely facing AML Leukemia since her diagnosis on July 23rd. The extended hospital stay and ongoing consolidation chemo every 28 days at John Stoddard Cancer Center has imposed a considerable financial burden. As a dedicated mother of 6, an adoring grandmother of 14 as well as 2 great -grandchildren, she continues to demonstrate remarkable strength and determination. A bone marrow transplant is planned at the U of I Hospital pending the identification of a compatible donor.
